  • GEOINT 2015 Symposium (June 22-25)-The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), a non-profit non-lobbying educational organization, hosts and produces this annual event. It is the nation's largest gathering of intelligence professionals and the preeminent intelligence event of the year. Held in Washington, DC, this year's theme is "Opening the Aperture. Charting New Paths." The show will feature keynotes from high-ranking government officials as well as interactive panels with intelligence experts from the public and private sectors.

  • Firehouse Expo (July 14-18) - This mainly municipal event brings together fire, rescue, and EMS professionals for hands-on training as well as a look at the latest technologies and products made specifically for their industry. Held in Baltimore this summer, the event features a keynote by Col Royal P. Mortenson, USMC and multiple training sessions and panel discussions with industry experts.
  • VMworld 2015 (August 30-September 3) - IT professionals currently deploying VMware solutions or those looking to learn more about virtualizing IT infrastructure and assets will be well served at this technology-centric event. This event in San Francisco brings together thought leaders, subject matter experts, and IT professionals to immerse themselves in the latest in virtualization and cloud technology.
  • NGAUS 2015 137th General Conference & Exhibition (September 10-13) - This gathering of the National Guard Association of the United States is designed to be a place to discuss the crucial issues facing the Guard. With senior Defense leaders in attendance, the event (in Nashville this year) offers professional development sessions, provides social interaction, and plots the association's course for the next year. This event provides great insight into the priorities of the Guard organization and access to a wide variety of decision makers.
  • Global Identity Summit (September 21-24) - This AFCEA event brings together identity professionals from the federal government and the private sector for information sharing and collaboration. Identity solutions are in high demand as the government focuses on proactive management of cyber and real-world threats. The event aims to promote a high-level understanding of current capabilities, pending needs, and future directions of both the federal government and the identity community.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on these shows as well as what other events you think we all need to get on our calendars now.
