Steven Carter is the Chief Cloud Architect for Red Hat Public Sector. He has more than 20 years of industry experience working in large universities, government research and development, and the private sector. He has spent time as a system administrator running some of the world’s largest supercomputers and a network engineer building out one of the world’s first SDN networks for the Department of Energy. In addition, Steven has a wide range of experience in networking ranging from operations, to embedded software development and spends much of his time helping customers apply cloud technologies to address business requirements.
