To all supporters of this year's outing:

On behalf of USO-Metro, NDIA Washington, D.C. Chapter Board of Directors, Don Masch and Dave Longley, Golf Chairs, we would like to thank you for your generous support of the annual NDIA Washington, DC Chapter Golf Outing benefitting USO-Metro at Andrews Air Force Base this past May.

The event was a great success. We enjoyed great weather, a great turnout, and an awesome group of participants! We really appreciate everyone’s support whether it was actual participation, silent auction & raffle donations, and/or event sponsorships. You made it a success!

Funds raised from the event will go towards the critical programs and services we provide to service members in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area!

Recently, in partnership with USO Inc., USO-Metro opened the largest USO center in the world at Fort Belvoir. The USO Warrior and Family Center is a state-of-the-art facility that includes a large community center, computer lab, music and art room, sports lounge and a golf simulator. The funds from this year’s tournament will help us build a similar USO Warrior and Family Center in 2014 adjacent to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Bethesda.

Mark your calendars for next year's event. It will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 once again at Andrews Air Force Base.

It is never too early to start planning so if you want to be a sponsor, register and/or pay early, let me know and I can send you the paperwork / invoice before the end of the year.
