Joint Armaments Forum & Exhibition



The 2014 Joint Armaments Conference, Exhibition & Firing Demonstration for Small Arms; Guns, Ammunition, Rockets & Missile Systems; and Unconventional Emerging Technology Armament Systems will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center, Phoenix, Arizona, May 12-15, 2014. The Joint Armaments program theme is "Balancing Armament Innovation and Readiness Improvements within Budget Constraints".

Sub themes include:

  • Small Arms: "Small Arms System Advances in Times of Diminishing Resources"

  • Guns, Ammunition, Rockets & Missiles: "Expanding the Warfighter’s Capability Through Technology Investment"

  • Unconventional Emerging Technology Armament Systems: "A 360-Degree View of Unconventional and Emerging Armaments: New Capability for Affordable Response"

The purpose of the Joint Armaments Conference, Exhibition & Firing Demonstration is to bring together the government and industry communities to participate in presentations and exhibits representing activities supporting the evolving requirements, technologies, systems, and ongoing production. Poster sessions continue to grow in interest and are offered to supplement the oral presentations. Tutorial sessions addressing key topics of interest in requirements, acquisition, ITAR, program management, DoD priorities and budget, industrial base, etc., to the Armaments community.
