Dave Bartoletti has developed, delivered, and marketed emerging technologies for more than 20 years as a software executive at several high-profile technology and financial services leaders. He was at the forefront of the virtualization, data center automation, messaging middleware, and cloud computing technology waves as both vendor and consumer. Dave advises Forrester clients on data center infrastructure technologies, including server, desktop and storage virtualization technologies, cloud computing strategies, and data center management and automation. He also has many years of experience addressing the unique requirements of the global financial services industry.


Previous Work Experience
Dave joins Forrester from Taneja Group, where he was a senior analyst and co-lead of the virtualization practice. At Taneja Group, Dave advised clients on product and technology strategies for datacenter infrastructure virtualization, cloud computing, and IT management. Earlier, Dave was VP of marketing and on the founding team of Enigmatec, a virtualization management pioneer acquired by iWave Software. Previously, Dave held executive positions at Tibco Software, where he created and managed the professional services organization; Fidelity Investments, where he launched a suite of online portfolio management tools; and Capco, where he built the company's software factory to develop financial services automation software

Education
Dave holds a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Boston University and an M.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT.

Gunnar Hellekson is the Chief Technology Strategist for Red Hat's US Public Sector group, where he works with systems integrators and government agencies to encourage the use of open source software in government. Hellekson is co-chair of Open Source for America and has been named one of Federal Computer Week's Fed 100. He is an active member of the Military Open Source working group, the SIIA Software Division Board, Freedom 2 Connect Technical Council, New America's California Civic Innovation Project Advisory Council, the Board of Directors for the Public Sector Innovation Group and CivicCommons' Board of Advisors. Hellekson's topics of expertise include cross-domain security, edge innovation and interagency collaboration through the open source model.


Prior to joining Red Hat, Hellekson worked as a developer, systems administrator and IT director for a series of internet businesses. He has also been a business and IT consultant to not-for-profit organizations in New York City. During that time, he spearheaded the reform of safety regulations for New York's electrical utilities.
