NM&SC National Meeting

The National Modeling & Simulation Coalition (NMSC), a cross-discipline organization of stakeholders in the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) industry, will hold the NMSC National Meeting on February 26, 2015 at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, Virginia.

The National Modeling & Simulation Coalition (NMSC) is the only national organization representing M&S across all domains and disciplines including health care, manufacturing, industrial development, energy, transportation, education, homeland security, defense and others. The coalition was formed in 2012 by a committed network of individuals, corporations, national and international associations, academic and research institutions, governmental organizations, and organizations supporting the government - all using M&S technologies to further advance their domains and disciplines.

The National Meeting is open to current members of the NMSC, and anyone with an interest in Modeling & Simulation and the goals and activities of the coalition.

The NMSC National Meeting will feature:

• Exciting Keynote Speakers

• Stimulating Panel Sessions

• Working group meetings exploring current initiatives such as:

• Creating a research and development agenda for the M&S community
• Advancing M&S education and professional development, especially at the K-12 level
• Enhancing business practices and industrial development, and establishing M&S as a discipline and profession
• Broadening participation beyond the aerospace and defense community from which the organization originated

• Review of NMSC activities, plans and status
