AFCEA Washington, DC will be producing its Health Summit – Advancing Federal Healthcare Through Health Analytics and Connected Devices. This event provides cross-agency dialogue in an ethical public forum between Mil-Gov executives, program managers, and technical SMEs. The Health Summit will also provide conversation from the IC and their collective involvement in providing improved health outcomes for those serving our nation. 

The event will feature keynote speakers and expert panelists from various defense and military health agencies. Attendees will gain a fresh and solid perspective on what the everyday healthcare challenges – and successes – are for our troops on the ground and what they encounter on the home front. This first-time event will host candid conversations, discuss best practices, and reveal what’s on horizon for defense and military healthcare. The goals of this panel are to address health security as it relates to policy enforcement - the impacts of data breaches on privacy and ways in which patients’ data can be more secured against those who wish to take patient data and cause harm.
