DevOps for Government Conference @930gov

Digital Government Institute is proud to announce the DevOps for Government Conference @930gov, to be held this August at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The term "DevOps" continues to increase in importance with the public sector. Much of this importance is related to the need to migrate applications to cloud-based solutions. But what is DevOps? Why is it important? How is it impacting the public sector?

DevOps has been defined as an enterprise software development phrase used to mean a type of agile relationship between Development and IT Operations. The goal of DevOps is to change and improve the realtionship by advocating better communication and collaboration between two business units. Implementing DevOps in large enterprises like the Public Sector can be challenging considering departmental silos and communication and collaboration requirements. DevOps requires change and letting go of the status quo. Attend the DevOps for Government Conference and learn how DevOpsis helping pave the way to cloud migration and more.

The DevOps for Government Conference is co-located with the 4th annual 930gov Conference, Tradeshow & Training Symposium. 930gov is a fiscal year-end strategy exchange bringing together Government IT, program management, acquisition professionals and their teams to review FY2017 plans and explore new opportunities.

Registration is free, and DevOps for Government Conference attendees will have access to all 930gov sessions and technical communities.
