CPIC2017 Annual Capital Planning & Investment Control Conference

This event qualifies for 16 CLPs

This event qualifies for 16 CPP, CPP-I

Each year the Federal CPIC Forum puts on a two-day conference in Washington, D.C. called the CPIC Conference. The event allows the Portfolio Management, Investment Management, Governance and related CPIC communities to come together, share ideas, and learn from each other. It is also the PREMIERE CPIC and governance networking event of the year.

To earn your 16 Continuing Learning Points (CLPs), you must attend the entire conference and participate, and complete the end-of-conference survey online.

For the 2017 10th Anniversary, we recommend sponsors work their vendor areas in the anniversary theme or the conference theme "Is there an App for that?" - showcasing the latest applications, tools, tips, and best practices in the PfM, CPIC, Governance arenas. Federal, State, Local & Tribal presenters may apply to participate in exchange for a full conference pass for their volunteerism; companies and FFRDC's can apply to speak in conjunction with a sponsorship + speaker or panelist upgrade. For more information about speaking, contact Laura Johnson at (301) 257- 7439. For more information about sponsorship, contact Donna Anderson at (301) 748-8173.

This is also the perfect opportunity for recruiting and advertising for employers. As part of sponsorship, employers can advertise their positions in the electronic version of the prospectus as well as promote their opportunities at the conference. Signage displaying professional career opportunities is encouraged.

The Candidates-to-Analysts Initiative CoHort 2 Graduation is scheduled to occur on Day 2, with the Cooper-Godlove CPIC Awards of Excellence Lunch & Ceremony.

Attendee tuition includes: 16 CLPs of continuing professional education credit, two breakfasts, lunches and breaks, certificate of completion (requires survey participation), access to 10th Anniversary Reception, Cooper-Godlove Awards of Excellence banquet luncheon, C2AI graduation, all plenary, keynote and CIO panel sessions for the full two days.

Any company may participate in a "bling bag" contribution for attendees and speakers of materials such as educational white papers, "giveaways" not to exceed FAR limitations, invitations to other events, or promotional items. A small fee is assessed for the receipt of items and bag stuffing. For more information, email: assistant@cpicforum.org
