SBIR Grant Workshop

Session 1: October 8-9   |   Session 2: November 12-13

If you’re seeking funding for your new idea, Eastern Foundry is bringing a group of like minded inventors and business leaders together to build applications for fifty, $225,000 grants from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) SBIR program that will be released this Fall.

Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants are given to companies with innovative ideas that have the potential to be commercial successes, and the best part is that the NSF doesn’t want equity and they do not have to be paid back. However the application process can be difficult to navigate, especially for first time applicants.

SBIR accepts proposals in any area of technology that shows high commercial potential, including Smart Technology, Biological Technology, IT, Hardware, and many others. For a full list, click here https://www.nsf.gov/eng/iip/sbir/topics.jsp

This workshop will take place over two weekends where you will build and refine your application with guidance from Eastern Foundry coaches, see examples of winning applications, and gain insight into any future grants you are interested in.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Please note that a Non-disclosure Agreement will need to be signed upon arrival as well as a contract agreeing to send a copy of your final SBIR Grant redacted proposal to Eastern Foundry.
