AFCEA NOVA 37th Anniversary Black Tie Tribute to Warriors 

AFCEA NOVA’s 37th Anniversary Black Tie Tribute will focus on serving those who are still serving. Grappling with an unrelenting and frenetic operations tempo for the past 15 years, our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and CoastGuardsmen have been at the tip of the spear in defense of our nation. Some have served three, four, five or more deployments in hostile areas around the world. Their service has been characterized by honor and valor and no sacrifice has been too great for them. 

In commemoration of our 37th year Anniversary, we will honor those who are still serving.  We have asked each service to select an outstanding company grade officer and an outstanding enlisted member for us to formally recognize and honor during our event. These young warriors deserve our support and we truly hope you will join AFCEA NOVA and the senior service leaders in saluting their achievements.

For the past 36 years, this Black Tie Tribute has attracted some 700 industry, military, and Federal Government telecommunications and IT professionals and their spouses.  Because we are focusing upon those who are still serving, we hope to sell out the venue. In addition to recognizing our valiant service men and women, this event provides an opportunity to socialize with colleagues, enjoy a fun-filled evening, and, give financial support to students studying Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Math via the AFCEA NOVA Scholarship Fund.

We sincerely hope that you will join us and senior service leaders on 11 February 2017 for an evening of elegance and honor as we pay tribute to these young warriors.  We have priced the tables to encourage maximum participation in honor of those who are still serving.
