Randy De Meno – Chief Technologist, Microsoft Products
and Microsoft Relationship for Commvault
The 23+ year Commvault veteran led Commvault’s entry to heterogeneous Data Management and pioneered Commvault’s Windows Centric software solution while spearheading the strategic partnership with Microsoft. De Meno holds dozens of patents for Commvault technology, including E-Discovery and Granular Application Integration. In 2013, CRN (Computer Reseller News) tabbed De Meno as a Top-100 executive and Top-25 Innovators in the computer industry and in 2016 Wagner College named him its “Alumni Fellow” recipient for distinguished careers. On a personal note, De Meno is married with three children and leads the Commvault Hockey Helping Kids program, which has helped raise over $1.4M dollars for various children’s charities while enabling children to have unique experiences in NHL settings with ex-NHL players and USA Women's Olympic Team members. He is a staunch advocate for families working with Autism.
Sujit Mohanty – DoD CTO for Microsoft
Mohanty is currently the DoD CTO for Microsoft. Prior, he was the Federal CTO and Director of Federal Pre-sales for Pivotal Software. He has worked with numerous agencies transforming how they build software across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Civilian markets. He helped drive the go-to-market federal technical strategy for the company’s Cloud Foundry product and has authored several books and white papers on cloud-native technologies and security. Prior to Pivotal, Mohanty was the Federal CTO and technical lead for HP’s go-to-market cloud strategy, Helion, with OpenStack and Cloud Foundry. Prior to that, he was the Federal CTO for HP Software, and served in other key technical leadership positions while at BMC Software and IBM. He has a passion for technology, having spent over 15 years in the space focused on IT ops, app dev, and security.
