Maryland PTAC HUBZone Connections Event

Join Maryland PTAC and it's Partners on Thursday, May 2nd at the University of Maryland's Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center. This event will be filled with sessions aimed at providing growth strategies and opportunities for HUBZone Businesses in and around the Capital Region. 

Don't miss this FREE one-day event designed to help become and grow your HUBZone certified small business. Attendees will learn about opportunities for growth through government contracting, participate in interactive workshops, and one-on-one pre-scheduled business matchmaking for qualified HUBZone certified businesses.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with potential teaming partners and create new workforce connections with a talented pool of university students.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

• Learn the benefits of becoming a HUBZone-certified small business and receive on-site screening to see if your business qualifies.
• Learn how to become and remain compliant by understanding the importance of HUBZone Rules.
• Participate in interactive learning and development workshops for all small business levels in government contracting. 
• Connect with potential teaming partners, decision makers, large prime contractors, and government resources. 
• Opt-in to matchmaking and mentoring opportunities with industry experts, government agencies and large prime contractors.
• Limited opportunities are available for matchmaking meetings and will be prioritized for HUBZone certified small businesses.

Please note that space is limited and this event is offered on a first come, first serve basis. A limited number of spots will be available on a first come first serve basis in the adjacent Stadium Drive Garage. Additional options are available within the university grounds as well as metro options.
