Acquisition Modernization & the Small Business Community

This event qualifies for 4 CLPs

The President’s Management Agenda lays out a long-term vision for modernizing the Federal Government in key areas that will improve the ability of agencies to deliver mission outcomes, provide excellent service, and effectively steward taxpayer dollars on behalf of the American people. In line with that vision, throughout the past 24 months, the U.S. Federal government has undergone numerous important changes to its policies and processes for acquisition, streamlining systems and implementing operational changes that will improve effectiveness and efficiency across the board. As the Federal acquisition system continues to evolve, both the business community and government agencies alike will continue to see changes in how they interact with each other, both government-to-industry and government-to-government. The ACT-IAC Small Business Alliance is convening this event to help the Small Business community better understand how these policy, process, and technical changes will impact their operations in the future.
