VHA Innovation Experience

We welcome you to attend the 2019 VHA Innovation Experience (VHA iEx). This two day session will highlight Department of Veteran Affairs ( VA) employees who are committed to transforming the way Veterans Health Administration (VHA) serves our nation's heroes. 

The VHA iEx Talk Series features TED-style talks that showcase the innovative practices and ideas of frontline employees. Presentations highlight practices from the VHA Innovations Program, the VA Innovators Network, and the Diffusion of Excellence. In tandem with the Changing Lives, Saving Lives campaign, these practices help VA better serve our nation’s Veterans. Attendees leave this event feeling moved and inspired to create their own innovations and understand that every VA employee can be an innovator, regardless of role, position, or location.

This celebratory event recognizes employees who drive VA forward with innovative thinking and promising practices. At this culminating occasion for the VHA Innovators Network and Diffusion of Excelennce, frontline employees will discuss their experiences designing, piloting, and implmeneting innovations, and the notable impact of their practices on Veterans across the VA health care system. 

Demos will follow three tracks: Innovative Research, Clinical Innovation, and Health Enabling Technology
