UK-Canada-U.S.-Australia Quadrilateral Conference

Australian, American, British and Canadian defence and security companies have a shared history of business cooperation and investment that dates back decades and continues today. All sides have prospered from their past and ongoing business relationships. The industries of all four countries are playing an important role in support of their armed forces in Afghanistan where co-operation between the four nations is vital for success.

With the passage of the Australia-U.S. and UK-US Defence Trade Co-operation Treaties in 2010, Australia and the UK will be entering into a new era of defence trade collaboration with the United States, whilst Canada benefits from its own long-standing special arrangements with the US.

As the challenges of the global economic situation puts pressure on national defence budgets, there is a desire for even closer business co-operation between the four nations’ industries.  How will these unique trading relationships work and how can all sides benefit from them?

Following on from the successful trilateral Canada/UK/USA conferences held in Washington DC (2009) and Ottawa (2010), A|D|S is hosting the next in this ongoing series of annual conferences in the UK at which, for the first time, the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) will be partnering, in addition to CADSI (Canada) and NDIA (USA).
