Enhancing Federal Worker Safety



Ensuring the safety of today’s Federal workforce requires enhanced situational awareness and the ability to locate all employees – no matter where they are – along with fail-safe methods to communicate with them. Enhancing Federal Worker Safety will present the latest strategies and technologies for threat intelligence, employee communication, and response. 

This session will address the unique challenges of protecting federal workers of all types (office workers, lone workers, traveling employees) and multiple departmental facilities.

The event will consist of 2 interactive presentations from industry experts as well as networking time. Lunch will be served.

Speaker and Presenter Information

TRACY REINHOLD, Vice President and Chief Security Officer, Everbridge
Tracy Reinhold is vice president and chief security officer at Everbridge. He is responsible for advancing Everbridge’s enterprise-level security strategy, as well as working closely with customers and partners to optimize their approach to managing and responding to critical events. Prior to his commercial roles in security, Reinhold served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for twenty-two years. During this time, he was a member of the Senior Executive Service, served as Associate Executive Assistant Director for National Security, and led the FBI’s intelligence division. 

KEVIN STEEPROW, Vice President, Design Engineering, Red River
Kevin W. Steeprow has over 20 years' experience selling, scoping, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT solutions in both the public and private sector. Mr. Steeprow has a passion to identify and implement creative technical solutions and is often relied upon to lead critical strategic programs for the adoption of technologies spanning the entire Innovation and adoption curve. Mr. Steeprow has held multiple positions with companies advising customers within the physical security, card issuance and identity management, biometric, real-time device monitoring and critical incident and event management best practices.

 

GARY WALKER, Chief Business Development Officer, OmniSystems Inc.
Gary began his career with the USAF and served in the Security Forces Command and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. He also served as an investigator and investigative executive within the US Inspector General Community. His combined expertise includes law enforcement and criminal investigations, National Security Threat and Counterintelligence, and Program Fraud/Waste/and Abuse matters. He is also skilled in IT program management and GSA certified as a Chief Information Officer. Gary has served as Vice President for Justice and Law Enforcement, at MicroPact Global Inc., and currently employed at OmniSystems Inc., as Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).
