SNG Live: Data Strategy

The onset of the coronavirus in early 2020 presented immediate challenges for recently appointed Chief Data Officers. Those CDOs were tasked with using leading agencies’ use of data to respond to the challenges introduced by the pandemic. On top of that, the Open Government Data Act of 2019 and the 2020 Federal Data Strategy Action Plan were still big priorities for 2020.

This SNG Live Virtual session will gather CDOs from across government to discuss the progress they’re making around these challenges and the role data is playing in the fight against the pandemic.
