9th Annual Information Operations & Electronic Warfare Symposium (USINDOPACOM)

The 2020 Information Operations (IO) and Electronic Warfare (EW) Symposium will be taking place as a virtual event.  The event is co-sponsored with United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), which conducts additional meetings, presentations and workshops that together with the AOC Pacific Conference comprise the Pacific IO Symposium. This annual event is USINDOPACOM's only professional development, international engagement and operational problem-solving event focused on the Information Related Capabilities that comprise Joint IO & EW. 

The theme for the 2020 Symposium, “All Domain Operations from Competition into Conflict,” will focus on how IO and EW contribute to all-domain warfighting challenges, as well as their contributions to achieving a Free and Open Indo-Pacific during competition. The purpose of the symposium is to bring together government, military, industry, academia, small business and other stakeholders for discussions on the operational challenges facing the practitioners of these IRCs, and to explore possible technological and tactics/procedural solutions. To stimulate wider interest and inquiry into these issues, the virtual symposium and related activities and events will be open to registration by government, industry and academia representatives without regard to their AOC membership status (both AOC Members and non-members may register) except that access of foreign and any other persons may be restricted as necessary in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.              

More than 275 attendees participated at this event in 2019.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Industry presentations that support the conference theme may be submitted for either the UNCLASSIFIED or SECRET REL FVEY, FRA, JPN days. Company product-focused briefs will not be accepted, and industry presentation should adhere to the theme. The deadline for submitting is close of business Friday, September 25, 2020, but earlier is better. Review the Call for Presentations (submissions are due September 25, 2020).
