Physical Security Engineering Convergence Bootcamp

This event qualifies for 40 CLPs

With electronic technologies quickly converging in the physical security vertical it is paramount to understand first, the basics of physical security, secondly, how this new technology will effect the physical security landscape of the future, and thirdly, how the correct physical security environment can actually enhance the technologies effectiveness.  Every good physical security program starts with assessing and quantifying criticality, threats and vulnerabilities.  Students will use a variety of methodologies during a field exercise.  The data they collect will be used over the next few days, as we spend time addressing mitigation strategies and best practices that are proven to deter a catastrophic event from happening and if that fails, reduces its effects on personnel and facilities.
