Transforming Information Management – Turning Challenges into Rewards

Do you remember being asked to take on a project that piqued your interest? Do you recall what drew you to information governance in the first place? Have you ever been asked to do something bigger than you were initially comfortable doing? Perhaps it was revamping or building a program from the ground up, where the challenge seemed so immense you weren’t sure how to start. What steps did you take? How did you prioritize and sequence your work? What did you learn from that experience? In what ways might that inform how you approach the challenges of today?

In this presentation, Anne will draw upon the experiences of her 20+ year career to facilitate a conversation about leveraging Information and Governance for Transformation in a way that sheds the fancy words and focuses on what matters. Whether you are starting an Information Governance program, rebooting a languishing program, improving how information is used to make decisions about revenues or costs, or navigating the pandemic and the information challenges it presents, this presentation will help you:

• Identify the steps for understanding and solving an information challenge
• Imagine new ways you can extract value from information in your organization to improve decision outcomes
• Describe the links between information, governance, and transformative change, and
• Explore approaches for managing the information challenges COVID19 presents in our organizations.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Anne Tülek founded Abundiant to build sustainable abundance for organizations and help their people shine. As case studies and testimonials reveal, Abundiant has been meeting these goals from the start: promoting sustainable abundance through higher than expected business case returns, and shining a light on the gifts and professional contributions client team members make on their respective project journeys. Before founding Abundiant, she served as President and CEO of the information management firm Access Sciences and as an Associate Partner at Accenture.

Anne brings decades of consulting and business operations experience into all she does. She has been a consultant and also a business executive: she understands how competing demands and changing landscapes can make project execution difficult without expert guidance. She has been an organizational leader and also a contributing team member: she understands the importance of building a strong team and giving team members guidance, freedom, and a future to work toward, so they can be their best professional selves. Anne has likewise been on both sides of the purchasing table: she understands how crucial it is for investment decisions to yield tangible value, and she knows that trust is the most valuable currency.

Anne holds four US patents. She is an International Fellow with AIIM International and the National Association of Corporate Directors and is a Certified Information Professional. She is also a proud alumna of the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. She is deeply involved with her community and a gifted speaker who routinely serves on corporate and nonprofit boards.
