F5 Cloud Services Workshop

Join F5 Networks and Carahsoft for a hands-on lab with Cloud Services where we'll demonstrate how to simplify your network architecture, protect your web applications in six simple clicks, and visualize telemetry to make actionable changes within your environment. This lab is intended to provide you with hands-on experience and allow you to ask questions.

The goal is to have each person setup with an internal service for testing. In order to maximize our time together, please follow these steps prior to the lab:

Have an internet connected computer or laptop with Google Chrome browser (recommended)
Create a free Cloud Services account here
Login to this portal
- Select "Subscribed" to the service you would like to use
Have the following information available, depending on which service you'd like to configure:
- Secondary DNS: Please come with the delegated zone and access to the primary DNS. Firewall access may be required if you are not allowing traffic through on port 53
  - Free Tier: 1 Zone & 3 million queries
  - Length of trial: 15 days
- DNS Load Balancer: Delegated zone, IPs, and regions you would like to configure
  - Free Tier: 1 Load Balanced Record (WIP), 3 million queries & 10 Standard Health checks
  - Length of trial: 15 days
