Data Driven Forum

This event qualifies for 4 CLPs

Description
Robust, accurate, timely, structured, and relevant data that provides a unified view is a necessary requirement for sound business strategy. Agencies and industry alike need to know how to identify and match, correct, implement identity rules, enforce adoption of taxonomies and analytics and reference data while also establishing and communicating information policies and mechanisms to ensure effective data use with policies, rules, security requirements, quality standards and data management oversight.

Solid data and data analysis improves transparency and accountability while also improving teamwork, performance, and employee morale. Government and industry find it easier to implement incremental changes, monitor vital metrics, make informed decisions, identify trends, and make quick changes based on accurate findings and outcomes. When government and industry use the data to make better decisions, they need access to the data when they need it.

This forum will provide updates from Chief Data Officers and industry on what they are doing with data readiness and analytics, how have challenges been overcome, such as with the need and analysis of COVID-related data, how workforce roles have changed and what government and industry are planning for the future.
