Cyberspace 2014 Symposium - A training and technology forum for government, industry, and academia

On behalf of the military/industry community and the city of Colorado Springs, we invite you to participate in the AFCEA Rocky Mountain Chapter’s 16th annual CYBERSPACE Symposium. Last year we had record breaking attendance and a star-studded program, but this year promises to be even better.

Why? Because while last year we lowered rates for government employees, this year ALL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ATTEND FREE. We did this for two reasons: To increase government attendance while accommodating new austere government attendance rules, and, simply, to attract more attendees and make the venue more valuable for industry sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees.

SO WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?

All Attendees:

  • Will be dazzled by a hundred exhibitors showcasing the latest technology and solutions to government and industry cyber and IT challenges.
  • Listen to and interact with some of America’s most brilliant strategic thinkers and policy makers in keynote speeches, presentations, and panels.
  • Earn Continuing Education Units required annually for certifications such as Program Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Security+ and Network+, and more.
  • Contribute to STEM scholarships for Colorado students.
  • Contribute to The Home Front Cares, a Colorado-based non-profit organization directly benefitting wounded veterans and their families.

Government Employees:

  • Provide awareness to government leaders and employees of commercial technology available to enhance mission effectiveness.
  • Free admission, which includes Presentations, Panels, Tuesday Reception, Exhibit Floor, and even parking! AND, the first 500 government registrants will get two free keynote luncheons!
  • But fundamentally CYBERSPACE 2014 is a world-class professional development opportunity. If you work in the Front Range, it is a professional development and training activity that is coming to you, at a time when government employers lack funds for sending you to other conferences and training events.
