IPv6 & Networking Conference @930gov

This event qualifies for TBD CEUs

September 30, 2014, government agencies were to update their public networks to Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) to comply with OMB guidance. As Federal agencies integrated IPv6 within their current operations, they now have the opportunity to employ new technology to optimize and enhance business functions and improve operational efficiencies and citizen services. The technological advances provided by the new protocol suite, including enhanced connectivity, support for mobile devices, improved security at the network level, and peer-to-peer communications tools, will allow the Federal Government to utilize ultra-high performance networks to better connect citizens to high bandwidth Web and services.

The U.S. government was a major force in IPv6 adoption but what lies ahead?  What have early-adopting federal agencies learned and how effectively are their IPv6-enabled networks running?  What are the next steps for public sector IPv6 adoption?  And, will recent Net Neutrality policy decisions have any impact on future adoption?  Plan to attend the 9th annual Government IPv6 and Networks Conference to find answers to these questions and much more . . .

The 2015 Government IPv6 Conference will  again be held in conjunction with Digital Government Institute’s 3rd annual 930gov Conference, Tradeshow & Training Symposium.  Registration is Free, and Government IPv6 Conference attendees will have access to all 930gov sessions and co-located events.
