Frontline Cardiology: 365 Days of Progress

This event qualifies for 6.75 CEUs

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. The new developments and advances in multiple areas of cardiovascular disease intend to afford benefit to the millions of patients who suffer from these conditions. Progress in cardiovascular medicine moves quickly. Given this pace, it can be difficult for frontline providers

to keep abreast of changes in preventive cardiology, new innovative therapeutic procedures, and diagnostic methods. There are also many sources of information that people are learning from. It is important to provide a forum in which practicing healthcare providers are presented with new information in a way that establishes a common knowledge base.

This course aims to shorten the translation between evidence and practice on a wide variety of cardiovascular issues including preventive cardiology, new innovative therapeutic procedures, and diagnostic methods. This meeting will bring together diverse members of the interdisciplinary practice team, towards creating a common knowledge base so important to effectiveness of the care team in today’s practice environment.
