The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) invites you to the Mobile Health Forum on Thursday, April 20th at the Renaissance Washington in Washington, D.C.
Mobile Health Apps and Telehealth applications have the potential to transform the standard approach to treating, monitoring, and educating the patient populations. These bi-directional initiatives – via voice, text, data, camera images and or video functions – are opening up new ways for providers and government to deliver healthcare services to military members, Vets, general patient population and others whether they are located in the urban or rural area. Use of these tools can be from a call center, supporting and managing emergencies and disaster, monitoring patients daily without having them come to the office, providing updates to medical records and much more.

- Risks, intrusion techniques, hacker strategies, and the dangers of comprised data
- Growing requirements for mobile technology of government agencies
- Insight on the mobile technology and applications in development
- Value and benefit of using mobile technology from a provider, agency, and industry perspective
- New mobile digital initiative spearheaded by the American Medical Association for its provider community

- Organizations providing services via mobile technology or healthcare information technology
- Government agencies who share, update, connect, or store patient data or records via mobile technology – including devices, mobile apps, and telehealth communication
- Provider community – physicians, healthcare technicians, hospitals/ERs, traveling providers who interact with the patient, provider or hospital system community in relation to patient data and records
