The National School Response Conference has been recognized as one of the premier conferences dedicated to School Safety and Security. The conference addresses the topics of school shootings, bullying, dating violence, vandalism, gang activity, alcohol and drugs, bomb threats, child abuse, school massacres, and catastrophic events such as pandemic outbreaks, tornadoes, terrorist attacks, and technological intrusions.   Besides hearing from Subject Matter Experts on these topics, delegates will meet with like-minded professionals who come to share their initiatives on school safety and how they developed best practices for their school community.

Research shows efforts by parents, administrators, teachers, students, and community members can reduce safety concerns and improve the overall school environment. One of the key concerns for many is stopping school violence.  This requires multiple prevention strategies addressed by schools and colleges partnering with their First Responders. Prevention efforts reduce risk factors and help organizations effectively respond to acts of violence.
