Formerly known as the DoDIIS Worldwide Conference, the Defense Intelligence Worldwide is expanding to focus on all-source intelligence and information technology as it contributes to mission success. Taking on the theme “Beyond DoDIIS - Mission Readiness 2020”, the Defense Intelligence Worldwide will feature a new and expanded scope bringing together government and industry professionals to focus on DIA’s mission and partnerships across the Intelligence Community.

Over the past years, the DoDIIS Worldwide Conference has served as DIA’s premier outlet for promulgating its position in the Intelligence Community and the broader Defense Intelligence Enterprise. Initially, the event was established by DIA to communicate the capabilities and technologies available, via JWICS, to the Information Technology and Intelligence Communities. The conference was designed to offer a unique venue that would allow for complex information to be demonstrated and distributed across a broad spectrum of government and commercial customers. The design proved to be an overwhelming success, enjoying a steady increase in attendance each year.

As the Intelligence Community moves towards a more integrated analytical environment, we believe that the DoDIIS Worldwide Conference model offers an ideal platform to advance all aspects of the DIA mission. Preventing strategic surprise and delivering a decision advantage to warfighters, defense planners, and policymakers can only be achieved when all mission components work together. This year, we are pleased to announce that the DoDIIS Worldwide Conference will now focus on all-source intelligence with a continued emphasis on information technology as it contributes to mission success.
