Registration is now open for the Association of the U.S. Army’s 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition.
Scheduled for Oct. 12–14 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., this year’s theme is “America’s Army: The Foundation of the Joint Force.” The three-day event will feature keynote addresses and professional development forums by top Army and DoW leaders on the Army’s transformation and its efforts to grow and prepare the force for a complex future battlefield.
There also will be more than 750 exhibits spread over five halls featuring the latest technology and equipment.
Attendees also can register for housing, which opened in June.

In addition to printed badges, attendees and exhibitors may use the AUSA Digital Access Pass as a quick way to enter the educational sessions in the convention center. Attendees also may scan the pass at any badge pickup location to receive a printed badge and social event tickets.
A printed badge is required to receive social event tickets and to visit the exhibit halls.
Facing a complex modern battlefield, the Army has been transforming the way it acquires new capabilities, recruits and retains soldiers and trains its formations to counter emerging threats.
“We are amidst a transformation that transcends all others,” Army Secretary Dan Driscoll wrote in a message to the force earlier this year. “It will be measured in months, not years or decades. It will be disruptive, chaotic, and uncomfortable. But every moment we lose mission-focus, we cede ground to our adversaries. Every advance they make increases risk to everything we hold dear.”
He urged soldiers to stay focused on “innovating, training and preparing,” and asked Congress to continue supporting the Army and its transformation efforts.
“We must go further so we can adapt quickly to threats and transform more quickly than our adversaries,” Driscoll testified on Capitol Hill. “Speed, innovation and capability are more important than ever now.”
In addition to keynote addresses and contemporary military forums featuring senior Army leaders, Annual Meeting attendees also will be able to view Warriors Corner and Innovators Corner presentations, visit more than 750 exhibits and network with leaders from the military and industry.
Also scheduled are several award presentations, including the winners of the Best Squad Competition, NCO and Soldier of the Year and the Marshall Medal, AUSA’s highest award for selfless service to the country.
This year’s Marshall Medal is being awarded to Frank Siller, chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports first responders, veterans and Gold Star families.
The annual meeting is free, but registration is required. Some seated events require separate reservations and may have a fee.
