October Monthly Speaker Series: Cybersecurity: A National Imperative ǁ A Government Trust

This event qualifies for 1 CEUs

Cyber innovation is a topic of critical importance to our government and our nation. All of us from industry to state and local government to U.S. Federal play a role. Join us as we gather to ensure our nation’s cyber strength. This event is open for registration and will deliver this program as scheduled.

Government holds a trusted role as the shepherd of our national security. Threats to cyberspace pose some of the most serious challenges of the 21st century for the United States.

Upholding that trust requires a knowledgeable workforce acting decisively and with vigilance to preserve and strengthen vital systems in the face of threats. This panel of senior government leaders will discuss the role government plays in preserving the security of the country’s most critical infrastructure.

This event will examine:

  • How agencies are assuring the security of mission-critical technology systems.
  • Acquisition, training and workforce issues that are impacting the cyber mission.
  • The importance of programs such as FedRAMP, HSPD-12 identity management, continuous monitoring and trusted internet connections.
  • The role industry partners must adopt to preserve national security.
