AWEA Wind Project Siting Seminar

As the wind industry has grown and evolved, it is clear that environmental and siting professionals’ scope of work encompasses the full life cycle of a wind energy facility ... from development to construction to operations. Over the past decade the wind industry has taken tremendous strides to understand and minimize impacts to the environment and the general public.

This year’s agenda aims to provide attendees with the latest strategies and information to effectively minimize siting and permitting risks and create conditions that will allow facilities to operate in compliance with permit obligations and environmental laws, while maximizing energy output.

In 2014, AWEA is bringing leaders from the industry, scientific community, and government authorities together in order to collaborate on lessons learned, creating a robust event that will crystallize the latest issues. During the AWEA Wind Project Siting Seminar, attendees will have access to tools that establish value for projects across the country facing a myriad of siting and operational issues.
