World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2015

The 8th World Future Energy Summit (WFES), hosted by Masdar,is the centrepiece of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), a global platform that addresses the challenges affecting the widespread adoption of sustainable and renewable energy, will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 19^th to 22^nd January, 2015 in Abu Dhabi.

WFES is a unique global meeting place that brings business, policy and technology together that put you at the heart of the sustainable energy debate. As anticipated, WFES 2014 was the largest, most rewarding and successful edition of WFES to date. A total of 140 delegations and 70 ministers attended our opening ceremony and more than 28,000 participants, from 170 countries, came together during the summit to share best practices, unveil new products and discuss sustainable solutions to tackle present and future energy challenges.

Recognizing the strong interconnection between energy and water, the International Water Summit 2015 (IWS) will be co-located with WFES in order to adopt a holistic point of view and allow stakeholders from both the energy and water industries to explore all aspects of the water-energy nexus. For the second time, EcoWASTE will be integrated with WFES, an international exhibition dedicated to waste management, recycling and sustainable development in the Middle East and beyond.
