Tom Temin is the host of Federal Drive weekdays from 6-9 a.m. on Federal News Radio 1500AM. Tom Temin has 30 years experience in journalism, mostly in technology markets. He was a long-serving editor-in-chief of Government Computer News and Washington Technology magazines, both of which were regular winners of national reporting awards. Before joining Federal News Radio, Tom wrote (and continues to write) a column on government IT and acquisition topics. He was a regular guest on Federal News Radio before joining the team.
PANELISTS
Shawn Kingsberry is the Assistant Director of Technology and the Chief Information Officer for the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board (Recovery Board). His role as the Recovery Board's CIO includes serving as a senior advisor to senior executives on all information technology matters, including investments and emerging initiatives and to assist in the coordination of all information technology day-to-day operations and activities. He also participates in the planning, coordinating, administering of projects, processes, procedures, standards, and/or service offerings while also ensuring timely and adequate implementation of established Recovery Board goals and objectives.
As Director of Global Operations, André Mendes manages, supervises and directs the IBB Chief of Staff, the Office of Technology, Services and Innovation (TSI) and serves as program administrator for the grants made to the BBG-sponsored grantees.
Darren House is the Director of Solutions Management at Avnet Government Solutions. He is responsible for managing solution development strategies and efforts in key technologies for government IT customers, understanding and identifying trends, drivers and incentives in public sector with a focus on the business value dependencies and impacts in the public sector market.
Raj Rana leads the Systems Engineering team for the Go-to-Market pathways for NetApp U.S. Public Sector Inc., in Vienna, VA. In this role, Mr. Rana is focused specifically on the Alliances, Value Added Resellers, System Integrator and Service Provider channels. He is also responsible for technical channel enablement, solution strategy and incubation of new roles and responsibilities in the U.S. Public Sector division.
