Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Security Awareness Forum & Training Exercise

CISO Security Awareness Forum & Training Exercise

The CISO Security Awareness Forum & Training Exercise is hosted by the Enterprise Information Security Group (EISG) at CMS.

EISG is purposefully aligned within the CMS Office of Information Services (OIS) to ensure that essential information security features are imbedded in new systems as they are developed and deployed.  However, beyond the technical, EISG also provides critical information security guidance, oversight and services that help to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all CMS information and information systems.

The format for this event will include briefings from various CMS components and industry leaders.  Table top displays from prime contractors and small businesses will be a highlight for information exchange and networking.  If you are interested in speaking at this event please let your FBC Account Representative know!  A session abstract and brief speaker bio should be submitted.   We are looking for speakers to address:

  • Protecting yourself & your family online
  • Examples of data breaches & how we protect ourself
  • Forensics
  • Government directives and how they impact CMS
  • Innovative technologies
