Dismissing Federal EEO Complaints Without Fear of Reversal

The EEOC recently reported that more than 40% of EEO claims that agencies dismiss are reversed — creating even more problems for agencies on top of the original complaints. Stem the tide now with guidance from former EEOC Supervisory AJ Joel Kravetz.

He’ll transform specific case examples into ready-to-use lessons, so you know how to avoid common mistakes and make dismissal decisions that won’t be reversed. Along with an understanding of each ground for dismissal, you’ll leave with this insider’s experienced-based strategies to:

  • Address the two grounds that cause 80% of the problems for agencies
  • Determine when a complaint should be investigated rather than dismissed
  • Recognize when untimely EEO counselor
    contact should be excused
  • Build a record that sufficiently justifies your acceptance or dismissal decision
  • Frame and develop effective acceptance and dismissal letters
  • And more!
