Hosted by the National Protection and Programs Directorate’s Office of Infrastructure Protection, this second episode in a series of Climate Adaptation and Critical Infrastructure Webinars will feature speakers from private industry, as well as State, local, and regional entities discussing regional adaptive approaches for addressing the impacts of sea level rise on critical infrastructure.

Sea Level Rise in the Southeast United States
Speaker: Dr. Rawlings Miller – Dr. Miller is a Ph.D. with ICF International has 18 years of experience in climate change and air pollution research and policy, and an additional two years of experience as an engineer.
Planning – Stakeholder Driven Adaptation Planning in South Carolina
Speaker: Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Fly – Dr. Fly is the coastal climate extension specialist for the South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium and the Carolinas Integrated Sciences and Assessments program.
Organizing Communities – Regional Adaptation Strategies for Coastal Resiliency
Speakers:
Tara McCue – Ms. McCue is the Director of Planning and Community Development at the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Ms. McCue’s climate resiliency work began at the Council in 2003. She has co-authored two papers examining land use impacts to rising sea level.
Margo Moehring – Ms. Moehring is the Managing Director of Policy at the Northeast Florida Regional Council and the Executive Director of the Regional Community Institute of Northeast Florida, Inc.
