Maine Climate Change Adaptation TTX

The Office of Infrastructure Protection (IP) cordially invites you to participate in the Maine Climate Change Adaptation Tabletop Exercise (TTX) to be held on May 7th from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

This Tabletop Exercise (TTX) will employ the Third National Climate Assessment (NCA 3) and the Climate Resilience Toolkit (CRT) to lead Federal, State, local, and private sector stakeholders through the Five Step Climate Change Adaptation Planning Process.  Participants will gain insight into the current state of climate science as it relates to Maine, best practices in adaptation and mitigation efforts, and available federal technical assistance, resources, and tools.

Your input is crucial to developing resilience to changing climate conditions in your local community.  Participants will help to identify areas of concern in climate change and begin working on solutions to the identified issues.  Feedback from participants will also be used to refine the CRT to better meet the needs of stakeholders in Maine and across the nation in an effort to address the impacts of climate change.

Participants are asked to bring a laptop computer to fully explore the Climate Resilience Toolkit and other online resources.
