Federal News Radio Online Chat: Ask the CIO with Pamela Dyson, CIO, SEC
Pam Dyson, the Securities and Exchange Commission’s CIO, will join Federal News Radio Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:30 a.m. for a free online chat. Dyson will discuss her priorities around moving legacy IT to the cloud, dealing with the big data challenge and addressing ongoing cybersecurity requirements.
Dyson will take part in the chat after her appearance on Ask the CIO on Thursday, September 17th at 10:00 a.m. on Federal News Radio 1500 AM in the Washington D.C., metro area and online everywhere.
Federal News Radio Executive Editor Jason Miller will moderate the chat.

Speaker and Presenter Information
Pam Dyson has been the chief information officer of the Security and Exchange Commission since February, and served as acting CIO since October 2014. Dyson began her SEC career as assistant director for enterprise operations. In that capacity, she managed day-to-day operations such as IT infrastructure and all enterprise operations for the SEC’s headquarters and its 11 regional offices. Before joining the SEC staff, Dyson was the deputy CIO for the International Trade Commission, where she held several positions of increasing responsibility for its information technology program.
Dyson received her B.S. from the University of Maryland in College Park.
