Small Businesses, Meet Big Opportunity

The government is required to award 23% of its contracts to small businesses, but getting a foot in the door and navigating the bureaucracy to ACTUALLY land one of those business deals is a daunting challenge.

For this event, small business owners are invited to a ½ day event providing access to local, state and federal agencies and large prime contractors.

At the sound of a bell's "ding!" small business owners meet with procurement officers who hear their pitch. The next bell is in 10 minutes -- a brief window of time, but long enough to potentially kick off a lucrative business relationship.

Participating primes and govt. agencies to date include: Lockheed Martin, Alion Science, UNISYS, Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCSC), Ft. Belvoir Mission Contracting Office, Engility Corporation, Prince William County Office of Procurement and Naval Surface Warfare Center
