Center for Digital Education Market Briefing: North Carolina 2015



The Center for Digital Education is hosting a Market Briefing event in North Carolina and we hope you can join us.

 

IT leaders from some of the largest districts in North Carolina will be on hand for a special briefing on their technology plans, priorities and focus for the coming years. The participants will be briefing the audience on district plans in a variety of topic areas, including computing infrastructure, mobile devices, digital content and curriculum, professional development, cyber security and their plans to incorporate blended learning models.

The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is the largest district in North Carolina and the 16th largest in the country with 168 schools serving over 150,000 students. WCPSS continues to take advantage of the advances in technology to ensure a system of innovative schools in which students, teachers, principals, parents, staff, policy leaders and the entire community collectively focus all energy, efforts and resources on building a 21st century culture of achievement. Orange County Schools has over 7,000 students and is committed to providing high-quality digital tools, professional development and online assessment support, as well as a technology infrastructure that supports digital learning.

 

This event will allow participants to:
