Regulatory Information Conference 2016
Sponsored by the NRC's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research, the RIC brings together several thousand perticipants from over 30 countries and offers an opportunity for government, industry, international agencies, members of the public and other interested stakeholders to meet and discuss new and emerging issues related to the safety and security of new, operating, and decommissioned reactors adn materials licensees.
The RIC provides an open forum for participants to learn valuable information about NRC actions planned or in progress related to the regulation of nuclear power plants, other nuclear facilities, and nuclear safety research. It also offers an environment that fosters dialogue among participants where different perspectives can be shared on technical process issues and other matters facing the nuclear industry.
REMINDER: For security reasons, all attendees must be registered and display their RIC badge while in the Conference Center. Attendees are reminded that bag checks will be conducted upon each entry to the Conference Center at various access points. It is recommended that attendees bring only what they will need for the day for their convenience and expedient entry.
