8th Annual AAAA Luther G. Jones Aviation Summit

• AAAA 8th Annual Luther G. Jones Aviation Summit: Provides the platform to highlight Corpus Christi Army Depot’s capabilities to the government and industry customers and provide a venue to display their products, brief their capabilities and exchange of ideas.

• DoD Approval: DoD Public Affairs has stopped its policy of issuing approval letters for conferences and symposia. It is now the responsibility of each individual's DoD Component Command and Ethics Office to make the determination on the appropriateness of attending such events, including gifts of "free" attendance.

• Registration: Registration forms can be found at the AAAA website, www.quad-a.org. Cut -off date for Online Registration is Friday, September 24, 2010. After that date, registration will be on-site at the American Bank Convention Center. Registration includes admission to the Professional Sessions, Exhibit Hall, "Early Bird" Reception, Continental Breakfasts, Lunch, and Refreshment Breaks.

• Professional Sessions: Begin on Wednesday, October 13 and conclude at noon Thursday, October 14. Admission to the professional sessions is by badge. Sessions are non-classified. Final program schedule will be provided to you approximately two weeks before the start of the Summit.

• Award Presentations: The Sikorsky Scholarship Award and CCAD Global War on Terrorism Awards along with the addition of the AAAA Donald F. Luce Depot Maintenance Artisan of the Year Award will be presented during the Keynote Address Wednesday, October 13.

• Dress Code: AAAA recommendations are: Early Bird Reception is casual attire for all; Professional Session is business attire for civilians and ACU for military. Exhibitors are required to wear business attire.

• Housing – A block of rooms has been reserved at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel for this Summit
