SAME Small Business Conference

The SAME Small Business Conference for DOD Engineering, Construction and Environmental Programs provides business leaders an opportunity to identify key contracting partners, learn of upcoming projects and opportunities, and generate new business. SAME is developing a high quality, informative program through collaboration with the small business offices at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE), the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA), as well as the SAME National Small Business Council.

Education sessions and panel discussions will address the ins-and-outs of business practices with the uniformed services and Department of Defense (DOD) agencies, as well as how to navigate the maze of federal contracting.

Small Business Award Nominations Due Oct. 8
Four Small Business Awards will be presented at the 2010 Small Business Conference, honoring individuals and companies who have had a positive impact on small business. These include: Small Business Award; Large Business Award; Government Small Business Advocate Award; and Industry Small Business Advocate.
