Day 1, Wednesday May 24: Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry

What is it?

Day 2, Thursday May 25: Enhanced Networking/Trade Show

What does this mean?  

The day is all about NETWORKING and CONNECTING!

 

Attendees will have the opportunity to network and connect with industry Prime contractors as well as key Government contracting stakeholders.

New this year!

Conversation stations.  These stations will allow attendees to engage in brief discussions about various small business and contracting topics, as well as opportunities to network with exhibitors.

 

One Stop Shop for Resources. An opportunity for attendees to get specific questions answered by the SBA, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC), SCORE, QC Chamber of Commerce and NDIA.

What’s the value add?

  • Full exhibitor list prior is available on the website prior to the event - this allows attendees to perform their research ahead of time to make the best use of their time
  • Attendees can engage directly with the Government agencies to allow  follow on discussions from the previous day's presentations.  Agencies will have representatives from small business, contracting and the requirements/program offices (as available) to provide you with the most valuable communication tools to market your business, and learn how to do business better with these agencies.
  • Regional businesses and Rock Island Arsenal “prime contractors” will also be available to discuss how to better be involved as part of their supply chain for Government or commercial work.
  • A one stop shop resource/technical assistance provider exhibit (PTAC, SBA and more…) will be able to answer any of your questions during the networking to ensure your conversations with the agencies and other businesses are as valuable as possible.
  • Informal roundtable discussions throughout the day, within the networking area, to discuss trending topics such as mentor protégé programs, non-manufacturer rule and SBA loan/surety bond programs.

Exhibiting businesses hosting informal discussions throughout the day to educate attendees on their needs for potential suppliers.
