McNamara Headquarters Complex Family Day

The McNamara Headquarters Complex (HQC) on Fort Belvoir houses the HQ of four major DoD agencies: DLA, DTIC, DTRA and DCAA. Morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) programs offer community support and boost quality of life for employees, military members and their families located at the HQC.

The Family Day event is the largest and most popular event held at the HQC and attracts over 6,000 participants. It is the HQC's signature event and has grown in scope every year since it began in 1996. Free event activities include: fun run/walk, climbing wall, inflatables, bingo, dancing, movies, photo booth, pony rides, train rides and more!

Sponsorship is available and includes:

- table at the event

- permission to hand out samples/coupons/promo items/literature

- inteaction with HQC personnela and their families

- association with a popular annual event

- logo placement on publicity materials

- logo on back of event t-shirt (worn by volunteers and given to the walk/run participants)
