#NYCSchoolsTech Summit

The #NYCSchoolsTech connects educators, administrators and other staff to technology experts and thought leaders, products and practices. Hundreds of dedicated NYCDOE professionals came to the fourth annual School Technology Summit in 2016. As one principal stated, "This was a great venue to exchange practice/strategies by people engaged in the work. This will only get bigger and better." Rahaf Harfoush - Keynote

Co-founder, Red Thread Inc.

Rahaf Harfoush is a strategist, digital anthropologist, and bestselling author who focuses on the intersections between emerging technology, innovation, and digital culture. She is the founder of Red Thread, a think tank that supports organizations in transforming digital trends into strategic opportunities. She is the author of “Yes We Did: An Insider’s Look at how Social Media Built the Obama Brand,” and a co-author of the New York Times bestseller “The Decoded Company: Know Your Talent Better Than You Know Your Customers.” She is currently working on her third book entitled “Hustle and Float: Productivity, Creativity, and the Future of Work.” Rahaf teaches Innovation and Emerging Business Models at the Masters program at Sciences Po in Paris. Formerly, Rahaf was the associate director of the Technology Pioneers at the World Economic Forum in Geneva. Rahaf has been recognized as a rising talent by the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society.
