Course Description:
Federal contractors with service and construction contracts are required to purchase biobased products. That requirement is generally stated as Contract Clause 52.223-2, Affirmative Procurement of Biobased Products under Service and Construction Contracts. The purpose of this course is to assist federal contractors in understanding and meeting their contract requirement to purchase and use biobased products in categories identified by USDA. The course also helps federal contractors to meet the requirement to report their product purchases via the System for Award Management (SAM).
