Zero Preventable Deaths from Trauma: A Military and Civilian Education and Training System

Surgeons, medical professionals and healthcare providers have an urgent call to action in an effort to reduce the number of deaths due to traumatic injury both at home and on the front lines of the battlefields around the world.  At this meeting, 100+ subject matter experts from leading corporations and senior government officials in the federal health and medical services will convene to address concerns around this issue and discuss strategies to reduce the number of preventable deaths due to trauma.  Outcomes of this meeting will help inform leaders and decision makers at the federal level, military departments and leading health care professionals.

The conference proceedings will be published in the AMSUS Journal, Military Medicine, and Health21 (the new AMSUS Magazine).
