FEDERAL CYBERSECURITY LEADERSHIP - AFFIRM AFTER HOURS/DISCUSSION GROUP IT NETWORKING EVENT

A special October Cybersecurity event will feature several key cybersecuty leaders including: Kevin Cox, Director of DHS's Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program, Carlene Ileto, Executive Director, Products and Services Delivery Management Office and Charles Taylor, Deputy Director. (Invited). We will hear more about a recently released CDM dashboard which will allow agencies to better leverage CDM information to power their decision-making.

The Federal CDM program, now in its fourth year, offers real-time visibility into Federal network vulnerabilities and helps agencies transform their aging systems. We will hear what’s next for the program, the synergies between CDM and the government’s IT modernization and the essential on-ramps to cloud computing.

The Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) is co-hosting this After-Hours Event, with Rory’s Discussion Group, to network in a lively and informal setting. We have invited a couple very special Government Featured Guests. While this is predominately a stand-up networking event, our Featured Guests will provide brief comments, at the mid-point of the event, and will also be available for individual discussions.

This event is part of an annual series of AFFIRM After Hours Networking events, offering our members and guests the chance to connect after working hours. CIOs and other IT professionals from many Federal agencies will be in attendance, along with partners from the IT industry with whom to network and interact. As a networking-focused event, there will be a brief 20-minute program (around 7pm) that will provide an introduction to the Feature Guests and provide them with the opportunity to make a few remarks. The rest of the event will be spent networking with IT professionals on a one-on-one basis.

This is a widely-attended non-profit event with no entry fee and a cash bar. This event is part of an annual series of AFFIRM After Hours Networking events, offering our members and guests the chance to connect after working hours.
